from the last blob, i agree the flyers need to start hitting in the draft beyond the first round. in recent past but still under Holmgren they have Ghost, Cousins , Leier, Stolaz and Hagg after the first round. as far as under hextall it is far too soon to be critical as his picks are too new but you already have a non Flyers NHL scout saying Bunnaman, a 4th rounder, would be a second rounder in a redraft. you have Lindblom, a 5th rounder, said to be a first rounder in a redraft and Myers, not drafted at all, another first rounder in a redraft. so many of the kids drafted by Hextall have taken steps forward every year since their drafts. I feel good about the flyers drafting.

Alt has been a good player for the phantoms so i am not overreacting to a bad game by him. that said I would like to see Friedman or Myers in for Lamarche. I mean, they are down 2-0 so why not? maybe it sparks them, maybe it doesn't. so unfortunate to play the whole season only to lose both goalies.

Like I said in the last blog...I freaking hate that the Caps and Pens are playing in the 2 round vs the conf finals.
